Marimar and Rosalinda are two telenovela series starring Mexican actress and singer Thalia Sodi Miranda. Both telenovelas were produced by Televisa, a Mexican telenovela production house. Marimar aired in 1994, while Rosalinda aired in 1999. Thalia first starred in the series Maria Mercedes, also produced by Televisa, which aired in 1992. When Maria Mercedes, Marimar, and Rosalinda aired in Indonesia in the mid-1990s, Thalia's charm captivated Indonesian audiences.
